Free Seminar draws over 200 Guestsrose.jpg

ALL ABOUT FLOWERS, our fall seminar, lunch, dinner and floral trade fair was held September 30, 2008. Over 200 flower lovers visited the all-day event which included lunch, dinner, growers trade fair and two design seminars. Funeral designs, wedding designs and everything in between was shown using flowers from our sponsoring suppliers. A big hit was the “Russian Cut” Freedom rose. These roses, left on the plant a bit longer than usual develop into a larger, more open cut bloom.  Designs were created for the event by Mark Erickson AIFD, OCF and Susan Shebester OACF. Watch for our next educational event!
